Education in Africa

The IKOLOGIKS CENTER for GLOBAL STUDIES is committed to creating innovative and
advanced strategies or resolutions to enact and impact a global transformation in
education and human welfare. We are seeking to establish education models based upon
fostering higher human values and consciousness. We are also seeking ways to remove
the enigma and stigma of social inequality, racism, sexism, caste and class demarcations.
We are supporting efforts for sustainable & ecologically sensitive development around
the world through micro-financing initiatives, health-care projects and offering tools in
    transformation technology.

Our current global projects and initiatives are outlined below:
Education in Africa
Eco-Friendly Asia
We are currently
seeking to
develop
education
support projects
in the countries
of Ghana,
Mozambique &
Namibia on the
middle school
and high-school
levels.

We hope to
expand this
process with the
opening of the
Ikologiks Center
for Global
Studies in the
years ahead.
We are exploring
opportunities to support
the development of
eco-friendly cities
throughout the fastest
growing urban centers
of the world that reside
mainly in  Asia. Our first
projects are being
proposed for the cities
of Ulsan, in South
Korea; Bangalore, India
and Ho Chi Min City in
Vietnam.

In 2001, prior to the tragic events of 911, Adisaji (founder of the ICGS) announced to
students of Ikologiks in the Virginia Beach area of the USA that it was time for "intentional
communities" to be established globally. It is believed that these independent communities
will become havens for those not wishing to conform to the current mandates of
    globalization.

The current path of globalization is presently being defined by the rich and powerful global
economic elite (plutocracy). It is increasingly clear that these global economic interests
(chaebols, multi-national corporations, finance capitalism) are intent on dominating and
subjugating humanity under the guise of a One World Government and Economic Order
(WTO, EU, or regional integration initiatives like ASEAN).

Thus, the ICGS created an NGO in the same year that 'Adisaji' made his announcement
calling for  the creation of the Ikologiks Center for Global Studies. The primary mission of
this NGO is to build the ICGS (Ikologiks University) and establish Iko-educational centers
internationally (mainly in so called developing nations) to offer alternatives to the
globalization models for sustainable development currently tied to the hegemony of the
IMF, WTO, GATT, NAFTA, World Bank and the UN Commission on Global Goverance. In
addition, this NGO will focus on supporting the world disenfranchised poor and working
    class of the world.

Decidedly, this is quite an ambitious goal for the ICGS to have undertaken at a time when it
has little resources to accomplish such objectives. However, it is envisioned that the ICGS
itself will become an important vehicle, catalyst, or magnet in order to generate support for
the goals outlined under this initiative. You can learn more about "intentional communities"
and the ICGS on this website.
We hope to
support projects
that challenge the
inadequacies of
the current or
proposed FTA in
between the USA
and Latin
American nations.

The ICGS does not
believe the
monumental
problems faced on
the African
continent can be
resolved only by
charity or relief
workers, or IMF
loans, or efforts of
religious
missionaries.

Instead a
comprehensive
investment must be
made in tying to
eliminate illiteracy
and by providing
innovative
educational
modules that
rapidly prepare
Africans for highly

will in turn boost
the economies of
these nations.
