The human quest for knowledge, understanding and

seeks

unapologetically to

transcend and advance beyond the limits

The classical civilizations of the antiquities gave us a

choice and imparted ideals that still

have relevance

today.

However, as we witness great

strides in technology

we seldom see

equal

or corresponding

pace

in the

progress

human

in terms

of human

relationships,

personality

structure, behavior

ability to

see "beyond the

box" of our own ego filled creations.

Consequently,

although Ikologiks acknowledges and

respects the

traditions of the past, nevertheless, it seeks to

guide

our

development into an advanced state of

consciousness that is

supported

directly

by the

Ikologiks:

Nine

Principles of Life

(NPL)

The ancient Nile Valley and

Indus Valley

civilizations along with the

ancient

civilizations of the

Olmec/Mayan, Aztec,

Inca, Dogon, Zulu,

Bantu,

Chinese, Koroyo (Korea),

Mongolian, etc.

have

afforded

humanity the fundamental

framework by

which the world operates

today

human

ity

interact

through

the

various cultural traditions.

These classical

civilizations

afford us the underlying

basis for

what

now is represented in

Ikologiks theory

Accordingly, the

concepts

being

held

or celebrated

with

the

various

existing

philosophical, religious

and spiritual traditions

make the development of

Ikologiks theory

a valid and

reliable tool

for the

continued empirical research required to

advance

humanity

beyond

this

current juncture point in world

history

in the face of

globalization or an impending "new world order'

In essence, we do

not "throw the baby out with the dirty bath water".

The "Nine Principles of Life

(NPL)

inner-stood

basically on a

dimensional and

third-dimensional, level initially, and

dimensional

octave/harmonic level. The students

The development of the "Nine Principles of

Life

(NPL)

originates in 1977. In that year Adisa

Maina

Omar

had

undertaken

a process of fasting and

meditation during

college

campus

break. And, on

the

third day he entered

into a deep

meditative

state

of consciousness. The

unique

insights he

envisioned during this deep state

contemplation

gave rise to the creation of the

nine

principles of life,

and subsequently, the

"Ikologiks/Ecologics

theory." The

conceptualizations

that were conveyed

Omar

and contained in the

were obtained as

a result of

a 'dharana pointer'

, koan, or point of

contemplation

centered upon the

question

hat is

the cause of the human

enigma?"

Similarly, over 2,500 years ago the Buddha

had

posed a question as he sat under the Bodhi

tree,

"what is the cause of human suffering?"

While,

Adisa

does

not compare himself to the Buddhi

does

he claim to have reached a

state of

"enlightenment

that this great

revered soul

allegedly

attained.

Moreover, he states that what he received should

not be viewed mystically or as some type of divine

revelation, message or guidance. Because, he

firmly believes that there are no further

"messengers" or "prophets" other than what was

sealed with the coming forth of the Prophet

Muhammad (PBUH) and the guidance and revelation

of the Holy

Qu'ran

. Yet, he advises us not to

discount the value of all the other teachings,

religions, messengers, seers, prophets, etc. that

have come upon this earth for the guidance of

humanity. Since all of them, sacrificed greatly

(sometimes with their lives) for the advancement of

humanity, despite the face we may differ with their

approaches, beliefs, or even the "god (s)" they pray

to or revere. What the NPL does affirm based on the

study of them by Adisa is the "ONENESS of GOD"

and that there are "no partners" or "companions" to

the CREATOR. However, the NPL does not

designate one religion over another and suggests it

is time to transcend dogma & ideology by affirming

the graduation of humanity from being "children of

God" to the "adults of God". In this sense, the

origins of 'Ikologiks theory' coincide with what has

preceded it and yet advances the past teachings to

a level of

FULFILLMENT

Theoretical Framework & Constructs of Ikologiks Theory

The main focus of Ikologiks training and the overall pedagogic approach of the
Ikologiks Center for Global Studies (ICGS) is based on the study of the "Nine
Principles of Life (NPL)." The pictographic, ideographic, cybernetic, mandalas,
and yantras forming the "Nine Principles of Life" were developed/designed in
1977 by Adisa Maina Omar while he was in attendance at Cornell University's,
College of Human Ecology, located in Ithaca, New York. The antecedents for
the theory, however, span an earlier period of his life, starting from 1970 to
1974 with the founding in 1970 of the Bronx Environmental Society, Inc. and
the introduction of the study of 'Black Ecology' by Adisa.

The precise theoretical framework and constructs surrounding this theoretical
philosophical system known as "Ikologiks theory" transcends the boundaries of
empiricism, the scientific method, or any other ascribed philosophical tradition
rooted in religious ideals, spiritual beliefs, or humanistic perspectives. Ikologiks
theory is therefore a unique system of thought and full integration,
harmonization and a synergistic application of transformational processes that
have the potential to elevate human consciousness and potential.

The origins or basis for 'Ikologiks theory' emerges from
all the great religions, traditions & philosophical
teachings of the world that have preceded the advent of
this theory. 'Ikologiks theory' advances a paradigm that
is integrated, holistic & integral, but not "comparative"
or seeking to merge the various teachings. Ikologiks
theory is mainly based on the "Nine Principles of Life".
