Some "global partners" associated with the Ikologiks Center for Global Studies have often asked of me, Adisaji, why are you constantly saying that we are no longer the "spiritual children of God? But, the spiritual adults of God?" So on this occasion of launching this new year forward --2010, I wish to give all of you a clear definitive answer to that perplexing statement and viewpoint I've expressed for sometime now. Precisely, I am telling you my friends that we are on the cusp of a new era of human transformation & potential. Because, in this new millennium, there is no doubt that we will certainly be moving away from the old religions, which are still operating in the world, and have been guiding humanity for thousands of years. Instead, we will soon begin our ascension into a higher consciousness that awakens us all to our inherent divinity. However, the old religions (what you call modern religion) are holding on to you like aging parents that often hold on to their grown-up children. Therefore, I tell you frankly, these religions were your spiritual parents. They guided your spiritual development through the use of fear, discipline, threats of punishment or chastisement and making you accept or believe that you were inferior to these institutions, declaring themselves (churches, mosques, synagogues, temples) as "gods" over you. (continued from main page) This situation is similar to the way your own biological parents raised you with stern discipline, or the "carrot and stick" approach. The religions of the world sought and still seek your obedience to them and their teachings (scriptures written by men claiming to be 'god' inspired) without questioning, and often neglect God as the source. So you blindly believed in them & their books (scriptures), paid your dues, accepted yourself as sinners and existed for millennium as sheep or followers of the various religious faiths. But, my dears it is time for your ascension, your transformation into higher consciousness is at hand. And, yet the religions (parents) of the world want you to remain under them forever and thereby impeding your spiritual growth. But, please understand I am not against religion, or the good some of them have done on your behalf, or are currently doing on the behalf of millions of the downtrodden souls around the world. So I say pointedly we should ALWAYS honor & respect our parents! So too then, we should respect the various religious faiths and not cast them aside in disrespect. However, there comes a time when the child must leave their parent's home and begins maturing into their own adulthood, from the stage of being an adolescent, and going through that rebellious stage of youth. Some of you have been going through such an adolescent stage and you say that you are sick of religion and some of you have even rebelled against your 'god' and declared they have no faith or belief in God. While, I certainly do not oppose atheism or agnosticism since they too have relevance in our search for truth and understanding. However, neither can I reject faith in that something (God, Great Spirit, Nature) that is our source, even if not readily perceived through the senses. Others, have blamed religion for all the conflict in the world and the current rise of terrorism rooted in those declaring only their particular understanding of God is valid or relevant. You are most correct in this assumption, that in the name of religion, so many atrocities have taken place on this planet. So I stand with you, in being sickened by the perversity of using the name of God to maim or kill innocents, or declaring only your path to God, your church (mosque, temple, parish, synagogue), or your particular religious or philosophical teaching is correct, and others of differing beliefs, will perish if they don't believe your way only. So it is time my friends to grow out of this confusion and ignorance. This is what I exactly mean by "spiritual adults of God". Because, in the days ahead I want you to know we will be afforded certain flows of energy and awakenings that will instill this notion of spiritual adulthood deeply within our psyche. However, some of you will still resist growing up and will want to remain under the protective roof/shelter of your parents as dependents. Similarly, many of you will continue to cling to your religions as they are constituted and will be fearful of leaving them behind, thus continuing to absorb yourself in your insane feelings of sin, guilt or shame. And merely, seeking all answers to life in your scriptural books (i.e. Bible, Koran, Bhagavad-Gita) rather than embracing God directly, as the prophets, fakirs, rishis and saints of old were commissioned to do, practice and observe. You see dears, they were actually the first "spiritual adults"! But, unlike you they had a deep abiding faith and full confidence in their relationship directly with spirit, or God. So please don't take my words harshly or in rebuke in this new year. It would have been easy for me, in offering this teaching known as Ikologiks: Nine Principles of Life to affirm your status as 'spiritual children' to safeguard this teaching and gain your support. I would have certainly received more acceptance & applause had I merely affixed this teaching to one existing religion or another, and continued along with the delusional thinking of us not being responsible for our actions, merely by clinging to faith, or belief alone. But, 'Ikologiks' stands before you as a testament of what lies in the future, should you agree to give up old habits, ways of thinking and embrace and celebrate this TRIAD OF TRANSFORMATIONAL COHERENCE FOR THE NU- AGE which concurs with the HARVEST OF MA'AT, AS THE TWO PRONG FORK, in the ELEVATION OF CONSCIOUSNESS, TO ASSURE YOUR ASCENSION. I urge all of you, whether you are "global partners" or not, to allow this passage into ascension to take place unimpeded by your continued absorption in isms, dogmas, rituals and age-old beliefs that are no longer valid in this emerging paradigm shift in consciousness, unfolding. As, spiritual adults, take responsibility, affirm your resolve, work dutifully and celebrate your ASCENSION!
