I worry not, knowing that my apprehension is
merely a blip on the radar screen of my emotions
& regrets, or passions unfulfilled. I fret not,
because I realize that God WITHIN me is not an
idol of worship, a mega star, or the hastily
contrieved ignorance of seeing a limit to my
unbounded potential. To worry & fret is a starved
craving of material illusions & unrealized dreams.
I prefer to LOVE, than worry or fret.

| NEW YEAR MESSAGE 2009 (PART ONE) The past year (2008) marked a decisive turning point in world affairs and history. This was primarily due to the collapse of the international financial system & equally the election of the first US President of African-American heritage (President-Elect Barack Obama). Therefore,the annual message I wish to offer to you this year is a bit more serious as opposed to the more esoteric content of some of my previous messages. As we begin 2009, the erratic and deepening global financial crisis is certainly having an impact on almost everyone on the planet. Yet, we most of us continue to be distracted by the light fare of the entertainment and sports industry which seemingly insulates us from facing the reality and hardships that the current crisis is ushering forth for millions. Coupled with this deepening global financial crisis, is the escalating problem of global warming and international political conflict hot-spots (Israel, Palestine, Russia, Pakistan, India, China, Iran, etc.) that collectively presents us with the possible ominous potential consequences of a global World War III. However, there is concurrently a seeming optimism afloat as the world awaits the imminent ascendancy into the US Oval Office of what many have defined or dubbed a "transformational leader" who also happens to be the first person of color to ever occupy the White House (President-Elect Barack Obama & his adorning wife & children). Additionally, millions around the world are celebrating a new sense of heightened consciousness about their civil duty and responsibility of being "earth citizens" in the development of eco-friendly green lifestyles. So while I could discuss these important topics in this message in great detail. Instead, I have decided to be a bit more reflective and personal about feelings I have about my own work with this NGO - Ikologiks Center for Global Studies. So in the context of the above enigmatic mix that we find ourselves experiencing at the commencement of 2009 I thought I'd raise an important question for all of you viewing this New Year message to consider. The question I wish to raise with you is -- "Exactly, what do you believe in at this important juncture in world history?" I chose to frame this question and assign it as the main theme of this year's message for several reasons. First, I thought it important for us to reflect upon why we even have a New Year celebration and believe that somehow everything magically conforms to this artificial creation of linear time. Secondly, I thought it important for all of you to consider -- "Why, you believe what you believe." Especially, when there are so many divergent belief systems present in the world. Lastly, I wanted to explore with you -- "How what we believe affects our potential for human transformation, which obviously is a major focus in Ikologiks theory and the work of the Ikologiks Center for Global Studies. However, before I address these rather weighty topics I first want to share exactly how the idea for writing this New Year message was sparked. It was on a bright sunny afternoon on December 28th 2008 when I happened to pay a visit to the apartment of some Indian IT professionals at the Sai Garden Apts. in Bangalore, India. The Indian economy is still relatively booming despite the global financial crisis, which is due in part to a consumer population base of one billion people and the availability of high skilled low-wage workers that has attracted the likes of Microsoft, AOL, Yahoo, GE Healthcare, and a host of other foreign multinational firms to locate in India in association with homegrown interests like Tata Consultancy Group and Infosystems. The Indian IT professionals I visited that Sunday afternoon were all from the state of Kerela. But, like many Indians searching for living wages they had relocated to Bangalore due to the lucrative job opportunities. In a two hour intense discussion which I had with them about the Ikologiks.org website and how it could be improved from their perspective as IT professionals, I came to a realization as to why Ikologiks theory was not showing much success either through this website in the global efforts I personally have fronted over the past ten years. I also began to see why the website now in its fourth year still does not seem to click in terms of recruiting volunteers or even donors to support the development of the initiatives planned by the Ikologiks Center for Global Studies. But, more about that later since I want to return to the main theme of this message that was centered on the question I posed at the beginning on "what do you believe in at this juncture in history." Today (Friday, June 19, 2009) in the Hitavada Newspaper (Daily) in Jabalpur, India I read an article titled "Dow asked to rehab Bhopal gas victims" by Lalit K Jha. I want readers to know that the picture is not as bad as perhaps I indicated in my original Blog post this week. Today I read that 27 US Congress members signed & delivered a letter to the CEO & Chairman of Dow Chemical Company (current owner of the former Union Carbide Plant, gas leak tragedy) Andrew Liveris. The letter was endorsed by survivors of the tragedy as represented by the International Campaign for Justice in Bhopal and was spearheaded by New Jersey Congressman Frank Pallone. In his comments Pallone was quoted as saying "After 25 years, the human and environmental tragedy of the Bhopal chemical disaster remains with us" ... " while thousands continue to suffer, Union Carbide and its successor, Dow Chemical, have yet to be brought to justice ... members of Congress will continue to fight against companies that evade civil and criminal liability by exploiting international borders and legal jurisdictions. I want to thank Congressman Pallone & the other members of Congress for the bold & decisive leadership on this issue. DIRECT path of this eclipse, perhaps destiny brought me here this past April for that reason. However, I must tell you it is not my character to succumb to hysteria, fear, or the superstitions and bravado from astrologers and others. I too, have known this personally in my own life and so I come to you not as some mystic teacher for you to follow, but as your brother & servant to offer what I feel can benefit you, as it most certainly has myself. Know that a special "seedling" was planted on September 9, 2007 to support those some call the "indigo children", but I prefer to label as the "adults of God". Yes, for generations we have seen our lives as being "children of God" accepting blindly the dictates, the teachings, the dogma, the rituals of our various religions, creeds, scriptures or spiritual practices, as if we had no innate higher consciousness already in place. You have been told so often you are embodiments of "divinity," but you shield the balance of "light and dark" within you forever seeking the extremes of being in light or darkness. What is this ignorance? It is the absence of light (Asotama Sadgama, Tamasoma Jyotir-gamya Mityoma Amitram Gamaya, Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti) that we call ignorance. Yet, it is from darkness that we emerge into light. So how can we deny our beginnings, our origins, source? What is this light? It is the acceptance of ALL that is in LOVE! The time of "either or" is transcended as we seek transformation "from within and without." Some of you may have failed your tests, or feel you have been graded too harshly in this sandlot called the Earth, the school yard of life, or the classroom of understanding that some state as wisdom teachings, or the esoteric occult knowledge. But, don't be too hard on yourself. These lessons were not meant to create sorrow, but to help you wrestle with a process to shed the old skins (as a snake), or shed the cocoon (as the butterfly). Believe me, you are a sacred chalice of hope, renewal and prosperity once you realize your true nature. I want you know that as we depart the "999" (from September 9, 2007 to September 9, 2009) we will swiftly be readied for our ascension should we so choose in 2012 AD and beyond. This SHOULD NOT BE A TIME OF FEAR, BUT OF COURAGE & RENEWAL! To some, Ikologiks & the "Nine Principles of Life" is confusing or contradictory. Some see too much logic or rationalism (left brain). While others, see it as mystical and unscientific, or even "craziness". This is okay, since only a few of you who preceded the birthing of the "indigo children" will grasp the significance of what is being shared in the "Nine Principles of Life." This skepticism is natural for you since so many false teachings or messages have entered into your experiences already. How can you know the merit of "Ikologiks?" On an intellectual level you cannot grasp it, even on the level of your perceived intuition it will elude you. You can only discover the validity of this message unveiled in the "Nine Principles" once you insribe LOVE DIVINE in your heart.
