| NEW YEAR MESSAGE - 2008 "Our Body, Mind & Spirit connection is not a mere contrivance by which we can lull ourselves into pseudo attempts to achieve self-realization, enlightenment or transformation. The body is only a temporary shell that this material world has overly glorified and coveted with our appetite for beauty, cosmetics & fitness. The mind is also temporary in nature so while it is being trained nowadays to only serve dogma, ideology or religious ideals that seldom elevate consciousness we allow our mind to be manipulated by the powers of illusion vested in consumerism, consumption and corporate greed in an unabashed fashion and as a result we suffer consciously and unconsciously. We don't KNOW spirit because we rely on others interpretations of spirit/life based on scriptures and concepts of creation & God that are deluded with ego and human misunderstanding. Instead, we must KNOW through the wisdom of the SELF obtained through personal transformation and the struggle of attaining WISDOM. Ikologiks is a call to examine life principles/principals in a rational manner to avoid the victimization often associated with religious cults, political ideologies and an educational system that merely prepares us to serve the needs of corporations. The Urgency of NOW! (Editorial) "In the American Presidential campaign cycle of 2008 there are numerous political slogans being crafted by the three remaining contenders (Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton & John McCain). Perhaps, the most defining and meaningful is the "stomp speech" mantra being offered by Barack Obama that is coined in the phrase -- "The Urgency of Now!" I believe in this phrase Obama has synthesized a call to action and a prophetic warning to America and the world. Because, if we continue along the same 'ole patterns and ideas that are embedded in the historic systems of class struggle, political strife, warfare, institutionalized racism & bigotry, gender violence, crass materialism, environmental degradation/pollution, and our incessant vilification of others different than ourselves based on religious, racial, sexual orientation, caste, class, gender or other divisions than sadly the world will soon disintegrate into utter chaos. The foreboding economic crisis is perhaps the specific ingredient within this volatile mixture of societal chaos that makes the 'urgent call for action and change' raised by Barack Obama so necessary. In the Ikologiks: Nine Principles of Life pictographs we receive and are directed into a specific set of instructional tools on what are called the 'theory of action' and 'theory of change.' These two valuable theoretical tools empower the individual to gain unique insights as to why 'change' is so urgently needed and equally why we should have the willingness to change. This too, is something that the Obama presidential campaign has embraced in a more simplified sense. Unfortunately, few truly understand how difficult 'real change' is because we are so entrenched in our habits, biases, rituals and cultural appendages affixed since childhood. Consequently, we seldom embrace change either in our own personal lives or globally. In addition, due to our reluctance to embrace change we don't seek to take 'action' on meaningful change. Therefore, like the programmable robots or addicts we have been institutionally become we tend to repeat the same mistakes, value judgments and ideas over and over again. As Barack Obama has rightly suggested to us during his (ongoing) campaigning there is an 'urgency of now' we can no longer afford to delay towards the further development of human transformation and beyond the archaic nature of past epochs in human civilization. I suggest that if humanity does not make a quantum leap in consciousness not only is our extinction as a species most probable, but the planet itself (i.e. global warming) will end as we know it. In every generation the universe has sprung forth visionaries and those with fortitude to inspire humanity to the highest heights. While certainly Hillary Clinton and John McCain might prove effective politicians in their respective parties and campaigns. Nevertheless, neither of them have seemed to capture the transcendental vision nor the urgent nature of what we must do in this generation if we are to avoid implosion, extinction or disintegration. It is not for me to endorse a political candidate due to the non-sectarian and apolitical nature of Ikologiks. However, it seems to me that when a clear reference and understanding is made to the Ikologiks: Nine Principles of Life as I believe Barack Obama has done, it is my duty to offer that knowledge to our global partners and those visiting our website. This is an urgent moment in world history and it will be unfortunate if we chose the same old patterns as a "safety net" or succumb to the same old partisan divides rather than embrace change, transformation and the need to act! - Adisaji (Roger M. | Adisaji's 53rd Birthday Message Over the past few months I've been humbled as I've battled with some serious health problems. I was fortunate to have the ongoing unwavering support of my long time friend, brother & student Glenn Gales during this most difficult period in my life. Without his continued sacrifice and selfless service that has been consistently held for now over 15 years it is doubtful I would be here to even write this message. First, I want to thank those who continue to support the this special teaching to as many people around the world as possible. Despite the continued setbacks and the ongoing problems with trying to maintain financial support and stability I continue to remain optimistic that First, I want to thank those who continue to support the one day the rays of benevolence will shine upon this work/mission which has occupied and commanded my work/mission which has occupied and commanded my entire life-span since the young age of 15 years old growing up in the Bronx, New York. I pray that the right decisions will be made in the upcoming US Presidential election and the Earth will be spared the potential horrors that await us if we maintain our current arrogance in world affairs. From global warming to wars abroad it is time for the world to more rationally decide how the forces of globalization will be maintained and executed. Soon we will be approaching 2012 and the changes that will evoke our greatest fears and yet our greatest opportunities to make this planet a better place will emerge. I urge all of you to rise to the important task that lies before us in restoring balance and order to our planet. I don't know if I will live much longer (given my health issues) to see all that lies ahead, but I know the seeds planted throughout my life in conveying the Ikologiks: Nine Principles of Life will not be in vain. So on this day of personal celebration I wish all of you Love, Grace, & Blessings. | PART I This message is mainly addressed to my former students, supporters or those who have been watching the work of Ikologiks over the past thirty years from a distance. I have spoken to many of you since the 1980s to expect what you now see transpiring before your very eyes. I shared videos with some of you like the "Bill Stills" segments and some of you doubted or mocked what I said to you. The Ikologiks: Nine Principles of Life spoke clearly to you about what is now taking place in the world as the forces of domination and control seek to create a "one world government" and a wage slavery global plutocracy. I do not wish to take more time now rehashing how we got to this juncture in history or even the "I told you so" rebuke. I have asked for some number of years for your support of the work of Ikologiks which has gone on deaf ears. I have pleaded with many of you to share in the burdens that would help prepare us for what is now unfolding and most just smiled and said "no thanks, we already have our path, our teacher, or our knowledge." I must tell you that this economic crisis is MANUFACTURED FALSELY! It is designed to rearrange the wealth and powers that govern this planet. It will potentially involve the outbreak of wars, riots in the streets and a world crisis coupled with the effects of global warming we have never witnessed before in this era. I told many of you at the time of the 911 attacks that this was just the beginning and we would see a deepening process as we approached 2009. But, few of you took me seriously and others just laughed in the comfort of their "secure" jobs and lifestyles. Now I must tell you once again that this period in history will be like no other, as we approach 2012. I urge you as never before to take time to read & study the Ikologiks: Nine Principles of Life. I urge you to MEDITATE daily! I urge you to support this work of the Ikologiks Center for Global Studies. Finally, I must remind you that this time period is one of chaos and despair, but it is also a time for great POTENTIAL! We can decide to succumb to the talk of fear & doom or we can resolve RIGHT NOW to take steps to recreate a world that breaks with the current matrix and paradigm of globalization. Yes, this is the time of the HARVEST OF MAAT! I implore you to listen to what I have said to you in the past years and start building your "intentional communities" ... you can not wait anymore. The best thing you can do at this time is to "come out of Babylon..." You must take your money and turn it into commodities like gold, silver, precious stones or natural resources. Your paper money will be WORTHLESS, your bank accounts will crash, those old enough to remember the 1929 Great Depression know that what I speak is true. The rich & powerful will bring down on humanity severe suffering all to satisfy their greed and to rearrange the distribution of wealth & power. I implore you to take a STAND! I PRAY YOU NOW HEED MY WORDS! (to be continued...)
I can tell you that the days ahead are going to be a time of reckoning for this generation. The Bush administration and the new "G-20" member nations are bent to embark in their final days of rule upon their plans for a "One World Government" that is rooted in the economic reforms now being titled 'Bretton- Woods 2'. So rather than rehash a lot of history and analysis that perhaps some of you already know I would instead just encourage you visit this website: www.themoneymasters.com or the website of former Presidential Candidate Ron Paul to get a balanced view of what is happening that these plutocrats don't want you to know. Secondly, I can only restate that this "financial crisis" has been artificially created so that the IMF, World Bank and other globalization tools can secure complete domination over the nation states of the world. For example, Pakistan which now only has two month's of cash currency reserves for procuring the imports it depends upon for food, medicines, etc. would be in dire straights should their economy collapse. In fact, it could trigger a nightmare for neighboring states like India with even the possibility of a nuclear attack. The plutocrats will assure you "everything will be alright" and PEACE will prevail if everyone conforms to their demands for world controls on currencies, banks, interest rates and eventually global taxes and wage controls. But, what is really being designed is a lock on human consciousness that will deny spiritual or transformational growth and center us solely in materialism, consumerism, conspicuous consumption and values that are selfish, individualistic, non-communal and take us away from respect for nature/natural. Thirdly, you MUST begin investing in land right now (while it is still available) and build "intentional communities" where you can maintain an ability to locally produce food, clothing & shelter. YOU MUST DIVEST FROM THE WORLD ECONOMIC SYSTEM! YOU MUST CENTER YOUR COMMUNITIES IN TRANSFORMATIONAL PRINCIPLES to awaken consciousness! Fourth, according to an "IKO-Projection" I've cast recently I anticipate that you will have until the late spring or early fall of 2009 to make any preparations for the drastic consequences of a "One World Economic Order." Don't depend on Barack Obama (should he be elected) to alter this course on your behalf, because if he dares to "buck" this process the plutocrats will simply have him crucified plain and simple. Fifth, above all else please stay steady in your meditation practices. I suspect the message of ikologiks will soon disappear (as will this website on November 21st 2008 if we don't receive funds), as will any of the voices that challenge this world economic system. Some often wonder why there are seemingly so many
"contradictions" in the ideas, teachings or views being
expressed on this website by Adisa Maina Omar
(Adisaji) or in the Ikologiks: Nine Principles of Life?
However, you must try to understand that "Ikologiks
theory" is rooted in a philosophical and ontological
paradigm that is mutually eclectic, esoteric and exoteric.
Stated more simply, Ikologiks is about every "thang" that
we can conceive of and even elements that we just can't.
The message of the "Nine Principles" is that we need to
move beyond our lower nature that is inherently fixated in
dogmas, ideologies, isms or even the conventional idea
not. We must transcend the notion that my "god" is better
than yours, or the supposition & debate over whether
there is a "god" or not. Yes, we do live in an information
age. Yes, do we have billions of ideas at our finger-tips
thanks to the Internet. But, what do we really gain by
increasing our knowledge base of ideas if we only seek
information, but are not equally seeking a transformation
in consciousness. The message of the "Nine Principles
of Life" is clear on this topic -- the "principles" don't exist
as a dogma or ideology that we must 'follow.' Instead,
they embrace a holistic process that gives us deeper
understanding concerning the mysteries of life & a
scientific methodology for human transformation.
I am reminded in the above context of an earlier period in
my life (1980s) when many Ikologiks students were
confused by my simultaneous embracing of the
African-American ISKON (International Society for Krsna
Consciousness) B.T. Swami (Swami Krsnapad) and
my concurrent association with an Indian Yogic scholar,
who founded the Indian Institute of Yoga (Patna, State
of Bihar -INDIA) named Dr. Phulgenda Sinha. Both
these two men were polar opposites. Yet, I considered
both personal friends of mine for years. Sinha was a strict
rationalist (to some extent atheist) and was a avid
proponent of the dualist Indian philosophical school known
as Sankhya (Samkhya) Philosophy/Darshan. Whereas,
B.T. Swami was a Hari Krsna Movement zealot who
loved & worshipped his beloved guru, teacher & master
Swami Prabhupad (founder, of ISKON). Ironically,
Swami Prabhupad authored one of the most popular
translations of the Indian spiritual text -- the Bhagavad
Gita, titling his version "The Gita As It Is". Alternatively,
Dr. Phulgenda Sinha published in 1987 a classic
commentary on the Gita which he titled "The Gita As It
Was." The two books symbolized what I call the great
divide that leads to contradictions, conflict and the
incessant battle of proving ourselves right and the other
person wrong. But, in Ikologiks theory we say that "what
is right is also wrong, and what is wrong is also
right". A conceptualization that is embraced in the Taoist
Ying & Yang symbol to a lesser degree, as well as,
other teachings that seek integrative, holistic or synergistic
approaches to our understanding of life. Thus, it would be
quite easy for me to select the "A" or "B" instead of the
choice to see "All of the Above" and "None of the Above"
equally. Such thinking is perhaps what makes Ikologiks
so difficult for the average person to comprehend. Yet,
such thinking ultimately will free us from the shackles of
discord, division, and divisiveness or rancor that
pervades the human experience.
So I can think of no better message to offer all the visitors
to this site on this auspicious time known as the WINTER
SOLSTICE. This time of year is also for many people a
festive holiday season. So to those that celebrate various
festivals like Christmas, Hannukah, or Kwanza or the
western New Year I offer my warm wishes to you all. -
