An Introduction to the Iko-Meditation Technique

About the Iko-Meditaiton Technique The practice of meditation is not limited by certain such arbitrary divisions like religion, nationality, culture or class. The practice is universal and can be found in the ancient knowledge and wisdom teachings of every great civilization that has arisen on this planet. The techniques employed in this particular system of meditation we call the "Iko-meditation technique" is a synthesis of some of the teachings of some of the greatest spiritual masters, gurus, and practical teachers of the science of fulfillment, mental acuity, stress reduction and the ultimate mastery of "Self."
teachings, mystical practices and conventional science in order to convey to initiates this most powerful and precise methodology for achieving personal goals, higher states of consciousness and ultimately "liberation" itself from the shackles of the illusional patterns in our third dimensional material reality and mental processes.
explore and gain some insights on how this meditation technique might be of some benefit to them. However, there are many styles, forms and methods of meditation in existence today and one should choose the technique, teacher or path that fits their own outlook on life or personality. Each of these systems, have evolved from the personal "realization" of some sage, teacher or mystic who has given their teachings so that others might realize a similar experience. In this sense, the Iko-Meditation Technique comes from the personal 'realization' that has been attained from over twenty-five years of personal practice by the developer of this system of meditation, known as "Adisaji" (Adisaji Maina Omar). He has studied under and received initiation from a host of other spiritual meditation masters during the course of his life and has incorporated aspects of each in the meditation practice he conveys. To this end, though he professes no particular "lineage" of affiliation or aligns himself solely with the (Eastern) Indian style of meditation, nevertheless, he teaches in the time honored tradition of those who have come before him. "Iko" simply means "life" and what Adisaji conveys is a pragmatic and disciplined methodology in approaching life that does not promise "miracles" or "showmanship," but a path that all seekers can partake of and ultimately share with others as friends, teachers or "self- realized beings." The choice to choose is yours! |

"The Kingdom of heaven is within (among) you." -Joshua(Jesus), the Christ-
"Each soul is potentially divine. The goal is to manifest this Divinity within by controlling nature, external and internal. Do this either by work, or worship, or psychic control, or philosophy--by one, or more, or all of these-- and be free!" -Swami Vivekananda-
"To practice the art & science of meditation just for some selfish goal or the achievement of your own personal enlightenment or worldly pleasures is a great insult to the great gift that has been bestowed to us by the sages & seers of the past. We must also meditate on behalf of the suffering of others, and to bring peace & higher consciousness to ALL sentient beings in the world. This is what the Buddha, Christ, Prophet Muhammad, Krsna and others implored us to do." -Adisaji, 02/07-
