About the Iko-Meditation Technique

The practice of meditation is not limited by certain arbitrary divisions like religion, nationality,
culture or class. Therefore we can say and affirm that the practice is universal! It can be found
in the ancient knowledge and wisdom teachings of every great civilization that has arisen on this
planet. Thus the techniques employed in this particular system of meditation we call the "Iko-
Meditation Technique"  is somewhat of a synthesis of the core teachings embodied within
some of the ideas expressed on meditation by the greatest spiritual masters, gurus, and
practical teachers.  The science of fulfillment, mental acuity, stress reduction and the ultimate
mastery of "Self" is at the center of what the Iko-Meditation Technique offers to students. The
Iko-Meditation Technique draws upon a rich spiritual culture and vast array of philosophical
teachings, mystical practices and conventional science in order to convey to initiates this most
powerful and precise methodology for achieving personal goals, higher states of consciousness
and ultimately "liberation" itself from the shackles of the illusionary patterns in our third
dimensional material reality or engaged in our mental processes.

The links offered on this page with a description of the "three levels" of the Iko-Meditation
Technique will help visitors of this website explore and gain insights as to how this meditation
technique might be of some benefit to them. However, there are many styles, forms and
methods of meditation in existence today and one should choose the technique, teacher or
path that fits their own outlook on life or personality. Each of these systems, have evolved from
the personal "realization" of some sage, teacher or mystic who has given their teachings so that
others might realize a similar experience. In this sense, the Iko-Meditation Technique is no
different. It comes from the personal 'realization' that has been attained from over twenty-five
years of personal practice by the developer of this meditation technique, known as Adisa Maina
Omar. He has personally studied under and received initiation from a host of other spiritual
meditation masters throughout the course of his life and has incorporated aspects of each in
the meditation practice he now conveys to us. Adisaji does not profess or claims to possess a
particular "lineage" of affiliation, nor does he align himself solely with the (Eastern) Indian style
of meditation. Nevertheless, he teaches in the time honored tradition of those who have come
before him. "Iko" simply means "life" and what Adisa Maina Omar conveys is a pragmatic and
disciplined methodology in approaching life that does not promise "miracles" or "showmanship"
but offers students a path to which all seekers can partake of no matter than religion, caste,
class, gender, race, political affiliation, or any other ascribed criteria operating in their lives.

The choice to choose is always yours to make!
