In Buddhism, most ceremonies involve nine monks and the chanting of mantras is usually conveyed in sets of 108 = 9, 1,008 = 9. In Hinduism
or the Vedic culture ascribes 108 =9 of Brahma, or God and also chants using combinations based on the number nine.
Al-Islam states that there are "99 Names or Attributes of ALLAH."
The Hebrew month of "AV" contains nine important days known as "Tisha HaYamin or "The Nine Days", which is a time of mourning that
observes on the ninth day the destruction of the Temples in Jerusalem.
In Wiccan covens there are said to be nine sacred trees that are lit in bonfire rituals.
Jim Hendrix wrote a lyric titled "If 6 was 9" a song that characterized his struggle to transcend all categorizations, labels, and to move beyond
"this and that." The sanskrit term "Neti-Neti" or "not this, not that" is akin to the Ikologiks tool of 'Negation-Acceptance' theory in
approaching applied transformation technology.
Gay Luce, founder of the "Nine Gates" Mystery School established her system of instruction in 1985 and in 1999 she raised the "Guardian
Council," which is comprised of nine members. The Ikologiks Nine Principles of Life received in 1977 by Adisaji identified that a "Council of
Guardians" made up of "nine" members would be established in 1999. Adisaji advised that this Council of Nine would be matched by a
"Council of Twelve" that would provide guidance to humanity on the "Nine Stages" of personal/collective transformation in reestablishing
our direct awareness of the ELOHIM, AIN SOPH and the GREAT AWAKENING/ASCENDENCY. Of course, we should innerstand that there
are numerous "councils of nine" and the person of Dr. V G Vinod is just one reported principal guide to this esoteric path of initiates. For
example, in the mythological traditions of Greece, the Council of Nine was comprised of Zeus, Aphrodite, Apollo, Athena, Demeter,
Hephaestus,Hera, Hermes, Poseidon. This Council created "Pandora" and the infamous story of Padora's Box resulted.
On January 22, 2006 in Longmont Colorado Lee Carroll of Kryon channeled an interesting message (see this link http://www.kryon.
com/k_chanellongmont06.html) that seems to confirm elements of what Adisaji stated regarding the future role/purpose of the Ikologiks: Nine
Principles of Life and the founding of the Ikologiks Center for Global Studies. Kryon (via Lee Carroll) stated that "September 9, 2007, is when
the Indigo Children of this earth get their "plan." Adisaji believes that what is being conveyed in the Nine Principles of Life will be the
'seeding' worldwide of a "plan" that brings humanity into global consciousness from a multitude of sources/resources.
The numerical system that was first employed at the time of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization or also known as the Dravidians/Harrapans
appears to have operated principally on a ‘base eight’ system as a principal divination tool. Subsequently, their number system gradually
evolved into a ‘base ten’ system which corresponded almost identically to the numerological principles which were held by the Egyptians and
Sumerians. However, the 'nine' also played a significant role in their number system.This evidence is largely drawn from the ancient seals
discovered at the Indus Valley citadels of Harrapa and Mohenjo-Daro which displays the evolution of their numeric system.
In numerology, 999 is the point of transformation, an inverted 666, the moment at which we shift a crisis in the direction of an opportunity. In
Taoism, this is known as ‘wei-chi’, a Chinese character which means both ‘crisis’ AND ‘opportunity’ (Rory Spowers).
