This article appeared in 1992 in the University of Maryland Student Newspaper (Eclipse) about
a decision to prohibit a workshop & seminar of the IAIAS, Inc. to be held on the campus.
Throughout the over fifteen history of the IAIAS, Inc. some institutions and individuals have
tried to ban or stop Ikologiks activites due to their own "Christian" or other personal
religious beliefs. This was the case in 1992 at the University of Maryland when a "born again"
Christian fought to stop the iAIAS program. In 1988 a similar incident took place in Los
Angeles, California (Compton Community College) when a Christian administrator tried to
block Adisaji from speaking to their students.
