Defining: "Ikologics Theory?"
(Iko=Life Studies, Logiks=Rational Thought)
'Ikologiks' is an ontological and epistemological empirical science;an applied spiritual
teaching and overall philosophical system that helps us to transcend the limits of dualism
and the material matrix of our third dimensional reality (illusion).
    An Historical Overview of
    How Ikologiks Theory Emerged?

    An Ikologiks Retrospective Narrative
The evolution of the theory of Ikologiks is full of enigmatic twists
and turns that form a spiral of concepts, ideas, perspectives,
methodologies, which speak well of the non-dogmatic or
ideological nature of this theory. The development of Ikologiks
theory is uniquely wedded to the ongoing debate over the nature
of class society (capitalism vs. socialism), racism (global white
supremacy) and the relevancy of religious ('new age' vs.
organized religion) or cultural values in the face of globalization
or global governance in the 21st century. Consequently, Ikologiks
theory was initially and still continues to be a dynamic and
continually evolving paradigm of empirical study. Ikologiks  is
rooted in an epistemological and ontological set of precepts,
postulates, and constructs that emerged out of the study of the
    'Nine Principles of Life.'

From Earth Day to a "Nu-Day"
In 1970, the world experienced the first official "Earth Day,' which was
celebrated in major cities, towns, villages and hamlets around the world. The
first Earth Day brought about a global awareness that the planet could no
longer be defined by traditional and historical geographical boundaries or
borders. For example, the problems of 'acid rain,' global warming, ozone
depletion, air and water pollution, or toxic wastes could no longer be seen as
limited to specific nation states or even continental regions. Instead,
humanity began to see the need to ensure our collective survival and co-
existence with nature by developing global governance mechanisms (IGOs)
inorder to protect or safeguard the Earth. The Kyoto Protocols (Green house
gas emission standards) and other worldwide global governance initiatives
(Earth Summit: 1992 UN Conference on Environment & Development in Brazil)
have attempted to regulate the excesses of independent nation states in their
utilization of the planet's fragile ecosystems and natural resources.

Simultaneously, the decade of the 1970s echoed in a major transition in the
social consciousness within the USA, and elsewhere in the world. This
transition being symbolized by the social turmoil or dissonance that
emanated from the 1960s anti-war movement (Vietnam), civil-rights, black
power movements, and women's movement, which were being experienced
worldwide due to television, radio, and the mass media revolution. It was
within this context of social revolution that the Ikologiks theory gradually
developed and gained a core foundation of empirical knowledge.
Furthermore, the impacts of the Cold-War or bipolar conflict between the US
and USSR in the aftermath of WWI, WWII and the Korean War are equally
relevant to this process, along with the arrival of Bretton Woods, the United
    Nations and EU (European Union).

Ikologiks is a theory that draws upon ancient traditions, knowledge
teachings, and wisdom principles. But, places them in an advanced context
of scientific study that is heuristically inner-stood  through the Ikologiks:
Nine Principles of Life. Hence, the deriving of the title of "Advanced Studies"
and  the name of the  International Academy of Ikologiks and Advanced
    Studies, Inc. that operating from 1989 - 2006 .

Throughout the assorted historical development of Ikologiks theory in 1977-
1978 it has never be made distinct from the ongoing geo-political forces
shaping our phenomenal existence nor the religious and spiritual powers that
attempt to govern if not enslave human consciousness in a whirlwind of
dogma, ideology and pseudo-scientific beliefs on the origin and meaning of
life. Ikologiks theory awakens our inner-standing by deriving wisdom from
the ancient Kemetic (Nile Valley Civilization) symbol of life -- the ANKH. Thus,
creating an interwoven tapestry cloth that harbours the essence of
knowledge and wisdom from the threads of reason and logic as the Nile valley
civilization demonstrated to the world. The core of this teaching resides in the
implicit ability of each student to access their own heart center. A heart,  to be
ultimately weighed and judged upon the scale of MAAT, DHARMA,  or
    RIGHTEOUSNESS.

A Global Purpose
The Ikologiks Center for Global Studies is a non-profit organization/NGO that is seeking to offer a variety of educational alternatives to the international community as it
pertains to globalization, sustainable development, the environment, poverty, racism, gender bias and oppression, world health and the spiritual transformation of humanity to
a higher plain of consciousness. TheICGS has several ambitious goals such as establishing a global research center that will support and serve as a "public interest"
think-tank. The main vehicle for these plans include the development in 2009 of an institution of "advanced"  higher education to be called the
'Ikologiks University.'

TheICGS seeks to provide the educational programs and services that it is offering at a nominal cost in countries that have been "under-developed" due to past
occurrences of colonialism, imperialism, slavery and military conquest. We believe that 'education' is the most potent weapon in the elimination of poverty, oppression,
repression and totalitarianism in the future. With the emergence of global economic structures (WTO, IMF, World Bank, etc.)  it is important to make sure that
all nations
have an equal ability to develop their citizenry on an equal and competitive footing
.

TheICGS vision embodies a "higher calling"  that involves the transformation and elevation of human consciousness. To achieve this goal theICGS offers a variety of tools
that are designed to bring-forth a "Transformation Technological" revolution that is equivalent to the material based economic (capitalism) revolution of the industrial age and
information technological (IT) that is now engulfing planetary consciousness as never before in recorded history. We hope to partner with business, government, industry,
academia and local citizens around the globe as we offer "TT" options.

What We Believe
TheICGS does not hold sway to any particular dogma, "ism" or ideology. While some might see the 'Ikologiks: Nine Principles of Life' (official teaching methodology) as
an ideology or dogma, nevertheless, theICGS strives hard not to force a "belief" system on our students. Instead, theICGS seeks to offer a "road map" or "ala-cart menu" of
choices that each aspirant can partake of along their personal journey to higher consciousness. We call this
'Central Philosophy' as a divergence from the traditional
East/West paradigm. The direct application of this process being
'Transformation Technology (TT).''
Our Funding Sources & Support Base
TheICGS is sustained almost entirely (100%) by  the generous gifts and donations coming from its members and supporters. As an official policy, theICGS does not seek
funding from governments, corporate foundations or other bodies that would regulate or impair the integrity of the pedagogic approaches and curriculum fostered through
our academic programs and services. However, theICGS does derive income from tuition fees, program fees and the sale of books, videos and other materials relevant
to our work. Without the support of people like
you and our growing number of "global partners" the outreach work of theICGS would be limited or even impossible.
Presently, theICGS does not ascribe to the US Government 501.(c) 3 tax-exempt approval process for the establishment of a non-profit charitable or educational
organization. Again, theICGS seeks not to be regulated or judged by any authority or external governing body. However, theICGS routinely follows all principles and
policies adhered to by 501.(c) 3 non-profit entities and is establishing the
"Ikologiks-NGO Foundation" as a mechanism for those that wish to support our work through a
financially transparent traditional non-profit mechanism. The
Ikologiks-NGO Foundation will allow corporate givers and others desiring tax-deductible contributions towards
our work possible.
Global Partnerships
In 2007 the ICGS was restructured from the original International Academy of Ikologiks & Advanced Studies, Inc.  established in 1989. The restructuring eliminates the old
"membership" structure and replaces it with our new
"Global Partners" or global partnership approach. The new focus is to engage global citizens in all aspects of our
work and governing structure whether as students, faculty, staff, volunteers or financial givers. We hope you will become a "partner" and visit our application pages on this
website.
Organizational Structure
TheICGS currently maintains a provisional hierarchal structure that is in accord with existing laws and governmental or business requirements subject to USA corporate
law. However, through our "global partners" the ICGS functions on the basic premises ascribed to true democratic and consensus building approaches in the functional
aspects of the NGO.  In seeking consensus building in most aspects of the day to day operations of theICGS we operate  in accord with the guidelines established in the
official By-Laws of the organization adopted in 1989 and revised in 1991, 1995, 1999, 2004 & 2007 respectively.

programs.
The main focus of Ikologiks training and the overall pedagogic approach of the  Ikologiks Center for Global Studies (ICGS) is based on the study of the
"Nine
Principles of Life."  These pictographic, ideographic, cybernetic, mandalas, and yantras forming the "Nine Principles of Life"  were developed in
1977 by Adisaji while in attendance at Cornell University's College of Human Ecology in Ithaca, New York. The antecedents for the theory, however,
span an earlier period of time from 1970 to 1974 with the founding in 1970 of the Bronx Environmental Society, Inc. and the introduction of the study of

'Black Ecology'
 by Adisaji.

The development of the "Nine Principles of Life" originates in 1977. In that year Adisaji had undertaken a process of fasting and meditation during a
campus break. And, on the third day he entered into a deep meditative state of consciousness. The unique insights he envisioned during this deep state
of contemplation gave rise to the creation of the
nine principles of life, and subsequently,  the "Ikologiks/Ecologics theory."  The conceptualizations
that were conveyed to "Adisaji" and contained in the "Nine Principles of Life" were obtained as a result of a 'dharana pointer' or focused question. The
'dharana pointer' is essentially a specific question or focus in meditation that is announced as one begins meditating. The question Adisaji posed in his
meditation was
"What is the cause of the human enigma?" Similarly, over 2,500 years ago the Buddha had posed a question as he sat under the Bodhi
tree, "what is the cause of human suffering?" Adisaji does not compare himself to the Buddhi or the state of "enlightenment that this great revered soul
attained. However, Adisaji states that all of us can access the 'unified field of consciousness' depending upon our state of mental and spiritual
development and purification. We can pose questions of self-interest as in consulting an oracle/divination or we can pose deeper questions of wisdom
for the benefit of all humanity. The same is true for those who pray and seek answers from God. It is equally true for shamans that seek answers from the
realm of 'spirits' or the ancestors. The process of enquiry used by scientist in the scientific method and empirical research is equally valid to such a
process. Albert Einstein is known to have gained his insight to the famous equation E=Mc2 not only through rigorous intellectual study/research. But,
he surfaced what he called the 'Eureka response' -- a state he likened to meditation where answers just "pop" into our conscious awareness.

The "Nine Principles of Life" are
inner-stood basically on a two-dimensional and third-dimensional, level initially, and then 4th/5th dimensional
octave/harmonic level. The students of Ikologiks theory and
'Central Philosophical' under the auspices of theICGS are taught to access these rubrics or
insights into the
human enigma. The training offered under the Ikologiks Center for Global Studies is open to people of various religious, spiritual
paths, academic levels or political persuasions throughout the world.
The Global Question
When theICGS was founded in 1989 (as the International Academy of Ikologiks &
Advanced Studies, Inc.)
, from the outset our collective vision was to impact and have
a "say" about  the current debate on globalization and especially world trade policies.
The ICGS since its inception has sought  to balance and influence the current
emphasis that globalization policies have taken after the Post-World Two Bretton
Woods accords and arrival of the UN as a replacement of the original League of
Nations. We reject the current model of globalization that focuses almost exclusively
on economic linkages (WTO, NAFTA, GATT, CFR, IMF, WB, etc.) and at the same
time marginalizes and greatly ignores the issues of the global environment, social and
political cohesion/coherance and the need to foster trans-cultural unity and
transformation in human consciousness on this the planet. Decidedly, theICGS has
been seeking since 1989  to generate worldwide interest in
transformation
technology
(TT) as opposed to just information technology (IT) as a principal means
and methodology to build a world of no walls, boundaries, divisions, or barriers as they
are currently rooted and constituted in the myriad of religious, racial, ethnic, or
national cultural differences, divisions and interest groups. However, simultaneously
the ICGS seeks to accomplish such broad and encompassing goals without ignoring,
dis-respecting, dis-honoring or devaluing the heritage and contributions made by the
diverse cultural groupings that have existing independently on this planet throughout
the ages.

The ICGS position on globalization is not simplistic. However, as generally outlined in
the tenets offered under the precepts of '
Central Philosophy' it is an approach that
can be gradually understood over time. The ICGS school of
Central Philosophy
suggests that we have to move beyond the current materialist world view rooted in the
economic systems of capitalism and socialism. Instead, humanity must utilize
applied
transformational technologies
in alignment with science and technology to upgrade
our human consciousness 'software' to be in accord with Dharma, MAAT, Humanism,
Righteousness and/or other methodologies that are attempting to elevate and purify
human behavior.
Theoretical Framework & Constructs of Ikologiks
"The currents of World War III have already
been sweeping the nations of the planets into
an unstoppable madness, which is driven by
competition over global natural resources and
economic hegemony by the oligarchies &
plutocracies of the industrialized nations.
Moreover, a spiritual decline ensues that
makes madness acceptable and sane global
civic action unacceptable.
WE MUST COME TOGETHER, not under a
"new world order" or "economic global trade
agreements or religious fanatical doctrines,
but on a sane focus on human transformation
and potentialism.
"
- Adisaji - 7/4/06

About the Founding of the ICGS
    * Adisa Maina Omar (Adisaji) is the co-founded the ICGS
and banded together with two other supporters (Glenn
Gales & Tanya Stivers) to incorporate the organzation in
April 1989 (District of Columbia). The AUM-IAIAS, Inc. was
established as a non-profit organization that operates
underline the guidelines established for bona fide 501.C.(3)
entities as regulated by the USA IRS. However, as an
international NGO the organization does not submit to the
governance of any particular national authority.

    * Tanya Strivers left the organization in 1991 to raise her
family and is no longer affiliated with the organization.
Glenn Gales remains a supporter, but no longer holds an
office of authority with the organization.

    * The Academy was first incorporated under the name
"Alkebu-lan Unification Moverment (AUM) - International
Association of Ecologics & Alkebu-lanic Studies, Inc. in
Washington, DC in 1989. But, changed names in 1991 upon
revision of the official bylaws and charter to reflect the
    true international, multi-cultural, trans-national global
character of the IAIAS, Inc. mission. The renaming of the
organization was ratified by the membership and changed
to the AUM - International Academy of Ikologiks &
Advanced Studies, Inc., which remains in affect to the
    present-day.

    * The original organization had an elected President (no
longer in effect) that presided over the membership
component of the IAIAS, Inc. based on a hierarchal
relationship.  The first President was Adisa Maina Omar
    (1989 -1990), followed by Skip Calloway (1990 - 1991) and
finally Curtis Houston (1991 - 1992). Thereafter, the
concept of "President" was abandoned and now the IAIAS,
Inc. has returned to a "consensus" collective structure
based on the circle-spiral organizational style.
